Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

I lift my eyes to the hills, where my heart finds stillness,
In the shadow of the mountains, there’s a whisper of Your will.
You’re the Maker of the heavens, my beacon in the night,
With every step I take, Lord, I’m guided by Your light.

My help comes from the Lord, who watches me with grace,
He’ll never let me slip, I’m safe within His embrace.
The sun won’t burn my skin, the moon won’t steal my dreams,
With You beside me, Lord, I can follow where it seems.

Through the valleys, through the fears, there’s a promise I hold tight,
You’ll keep me from all harm, through the day and through the night.
In every twist and turn, You’re the comfort that I seek,
You watch over my coming, Lord, You’re strong when I am weak.
