As promised, the fireworks arrived right on schedule when Ole Miss linebacker TJ Dottery, the SEC’s leading tackler, was officially announced as an LSU signee just after the clock struck 12. Dottery became LSU’s seventh portal addition of the day and capped off one of the wildest finishes to a portal cycle you’ll ever see.

But that wasn’t all.

LSU also added four offensive linemen on Friday, bringing the total to eight OL additions this portal cycle — exactly replacing the eight linemen who departed.
