Roush Yates Engines is proud to be the provider of horsepower for the Ford GTs. Each one will be equipped with a Twin Turbo Ford Ecoboost V6 built from Roush Yates Engines in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Four Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GTs will take to the Le Mans track on June 18, 2016 for the historic return. “Fifty years ago, one of the most legendary moments in motorsports history took place as the duel between Ford and Ferrari took place on the track at Le Mans 1966,” said Bill Ford, executive chairman, Ford Motor Company. “Once again, all eyes will be focused on this legendary race as Ford returns to take on the best in endurance racing.”
In the 2016 season, Roush Yates Engines will provide the power under the hood for 114 races, over 5 premium race series, which stretch across 9 different countries.
