2 SCOTS Royal Highland Fusiliers Parade the Royal Mile for Scottish Parliament's 25th Anniversary

The Pipes, Drums and Bugles of the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland (2 SCOTS) played a prominent role in the ceremonial events for the 25th Anniversary of the Scottish Parliament on September 28, 2024.

Leading the "Escort to the Crown" procession, which saw the Crown of Scotland transported from Edinburgh Castle to the Parliament building. They paraded down the Royal Mile with The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, and the Scots Guards.

Providing musical accompaniment and a Guard of Honour for the arrival of TheirMajesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla at the Parliament building.Performing tunes such as "Scotland the Brave" and "Highland Laddie" during the events.

This high-profile event saw various military personnel and musicians participating in the ceremonial operations to mark this significant milestone in Scotland's political journey.
