Crypto CEO Patrick L. Riley shocks the community by announcing his US presidential candidacy, garnering support from crypto enthusiasts.
Patrick L. Riley, CEO of Reaper Financial and Chairman of the BLOC Oversight Committee, has declared his candidacy for President of the United States of America in the upcoming 2024 elections, which surprised the cryptocurrency community. 
Riley shared the information on Twitter and reaffirmed his commitment to pushing for practical blockchain and technology-based solutions in American politics.

Riley's tweet caught the attention of his followers as well as several key figures in the cryptocurrency industry. 
Notably, the would-be US president tweeted about prominent cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbase, Binance US, and Gemini, indicating his desire to include the key figures in the sector in his campaign. 
Riley also mentioned well-known XRP contributors in his declaration of intent. 

These people are specifically John Deaton, a pro-XRP attorney, David Schwartz, Ripple's CTO, and CEO Brad Garlinghouse. 
Riley wants to be president, but none of the crypto personalities who have been tagged have responded as of yet.
