0:00 Powerful tornadoes occur not only in the United States. One such tornado struck Kuala Langat in the Malaysian state of Selangor. Strong winds tore roofs off homes in the towns of Kampung Medan and Telok Panglima Garang. A school and an indoor stadium were destroyed, and 14 people were injured.

1:41 A powerful 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Sarmi in Papua Province, Indonesia, causing panic and significant damage. According to local authorities, five districts were damaged by the earthquake: Sarmi Kota, Sarmi Selatan, Pantai Timur Bagian Barat, Tor Atas, and Pantai Barat. Around 70 buildings were damaged in the five districts, including 50 residential buildings and eight office buildings.

2:55 Heavy rainfall in Costa Rica has caused widespread flooding in Guanacaste Province and the Central Valley, particularly in the districts of Nicoya, Carrillo, La Cruz, and San José. According to the National Emergency Commission, 67 cases of flooding were recorded across the country in one day.
In Nicoya, homes and roads were flooded; in Carrillo, the sewer system collapsed and rivers overflowed.
In La Cruz, rivers overflowed and roads were flooded; in San José, a river overflowed its banks, leaving several people isolated and evacuations underway.

4:54 The Lewotobi Laki Laki volcano in eastern Indonesia erupted with an ash column reaching up to 8,000 meters above sea level. According to the Volcanology Center, the eruption occurred at 9:21 AM local time and was accompanied by a thick gray cloud directed north and northwest. Earlier, at around 1:35 AM, another, more powerful eruption was recorded, spewing ash 10 kilometers. Residents are prohibited from approaching the crater within 6 km, and up to 7 km in some areas. Authorities have raised the alert level to maximum, as the eruption continues.
