Jerry enacts some sort of arthouse presentation as the short comes to an end, followed by a promo for Cartoon Cartoon Weeknights, a two-hour orgy of all your favourite cartoons. No wonder Cartoon Network seemed so attractive with a line-up like this. They made sure you never changed the channel.

An army of Churchill clones get ready to overthrow the human race, but not before trying to flog you some insurance first. Don’t sign all that paperwork - it’s just a distraction. They’re coming for you. Right now. Run! Run far away, and never look back!

The Park catalogue reminds us not to buy anything this Christmas and instead save up for Christmas 2001 instead, followed by another advert for Barbie Please Kill Me I Can’t Stand It Any Longer.

Then it’s an advert for The Land Before Time: Return to the Great Valley, a video game for the PlayStation. It’s obviously been animated in-game, so it looks rather poor, but kind of charming nonetheless. I imagine it involves running away from dinosaurs, but I’ve never seen any of these movies, despite there being about seven thousand of them, so I wouldn’t know.

After another Park catalogue advert, we get a repeat of the Tenchi Muyo! ad, where I can’t help but notice the guy has a lightsaber. Any explanation for this Star Wars rip-off? Angry fan answers expected in the comments below.

Another Tom and Jerry bumper returns us to the show, where Tom gets a job as the MGM logo.
