Had an awesome day with SP Motorsports’ private group at Laguna Seca on October 5th, 2024. One of the hottest track days at Laguna I’ve experienced, with the car reading the ambient temp at 100°F!
I got the opportunity to chase SP Motorsports’ 992 GT3RS in the final session, and was certainly a challenge to keep up. Despite the heat, I clocked a respectably 1:34.28 lap time and managed to hold 1:35s for the majority of the day.
I highly recommend joining a private track group like those offered by SP Motorsports. It provides a safe, low-traffic environment, with the added benefit of having a motorsport team on-site for trackside services. It’s a great way to focus on performance with professional support.
