For the third time in seven days A4 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley heads over it's former stomping ground on an early Xmas special to York. It was also third time lucky for us as we attempted to do last weeks run but awful weather put paid to that and unfortunately we were unable to cover the second run earlier this week. As mentioned above this was the third trip for No7 and finally we were rewarded with some glorious late autumn conditions which played the backdrop for a spirited run across the East Coast Mainline. The weather has been very poor this Autumn so it was nice to finally get rewarded for our efforts. The locations are stated at the start of the video and the scenes were captured in Nottinghamshire either side of the water stop at Retford.
