Squamish Plan B: Discovering 'Unrelated Dead Guys'

My plan to ride some of Squamish's most iconic trails fell apart the moment I arrived at the trailhead. What followed was an unplanned detour that led to one of the most beautiful rides of my life.

This ride became a real-world lesson in the 'Art of the Pivot.' It's one thing to master a known challenge, but another to adapt to chaos and find opportunity in disruption. The journey led me to a trail called 'Unrelated Dead Guys,' a stunning line of steep, wet, granite slabs that snake through the forest. The ride demanded total focus, and to make the challenge even more profound, I didn't realize until the end that I had accidentally ridden the entire descent with a major equipment handicap...
