These Hands - Global Music Match Collaboration (Dave Gunning)

I was very fortunate to take part in the 2020 Global Music Match program. It was launched during the pandemic to give the music industry a little bit of a much needed boost, providing networking opportunities to musicians from all around the world. I'm so happy that this video came out of the experience.

The team that I was part of was "Team 9". We recorded this song of mine together, separately - from wherever we were in the world at the time . It's a song that I co-wrote with George Canyon a few years ago, inspired in part by another song we'd written together called "Some Hands" and also a Pete Seeger documentary I'd recently watched at the time.

I want to send out a huge thank you to Ivy Windred-Wornes of the Australian sister duo, "Charm of Finches". She did the beautiful editing job and helped me create this video collaboration.
