Norwalk ACTS is delighted to announce its partnership with the League of Women Voters in Norwalk and the Center for Youth Leadership at Brien McMahon High School to host our second Board of Education Candidate Forum.
We would like to thank all parties and participants for taking their time to engage in this youth-led forum.
This forum will take place as a discussion. It will be facilitated and driven by Norwalk’s youth. Questions and discussion topics have been formulated by Norwalk’s youth, including the CYL students and the Norwalk ACTS Youth Community Advocates.
Students will be asking questions on various topics related to education, mental health, after-school programming, and many more!
This will be another great and accessible opportunity for both students and families to hear directly from our Board of Education Candidates.
This discussion provides a safe space for youth to come together with board members to educate, share experiences, and explore solutions to ensure an equitable school environment.
