Van life on Cape Cod (Pt 3): Outer Cape, Provincetown, and nature on New England road trip

Ep. 291 - Our road trip down the New England coast in our self-converted camper van continues with our last full day on Cape Cod's Outer Cape region and includes a beautiful sunrise in Provincetown, sweeping ocean views along the Cape Cod National Seashore, wildlife, and charming towns. We end our time enjoying fresh seafood, watching playful seals, and a taking in a gorgeous sunset at the Chatham Fish Pier then back to our free overnight camp spot in Barnstable. We'd say van life on Cape Cod was a success!

Provincetown Causeway: From Pilgrims' First Landing Park you can access the causeway, also called Long Point Dike for a great nature walk (as long as its low tide) with views of Long Point Light Station, Wood End Lighthouse, downtown Provincetown, Provincetown Harbor, and the Pilgrim Monument. It's also a great place for wildlife viewing including shore birds and seals.
Herring Cove Beach: Part of the Cape Cod National Seashore at the end of Route 6, just outside the town center of Provincetown. This is a great spot for views of Race Point Lighthouse and sunset. Entrance is free with the America the Beautiful pass.
Downtown Provincetown: Provides interesting people watching, historic architecture and beautiful gardens to take in, unique shops, restaurants, and great views of the Provincetown Harbor.
Head of the Meadow Beach: Part of the National Seashore, a beautiful beach with tall dunes and often views of seals. Entrance is free with the America the Beautiful pass.
Chatham Fish Pier: A great place to see seals and enjoy beautiful harbor views.
