Today is Day 6 of our Bangalore to Arunachal Road Trip!
We arrived at the beautiful Sangti Valley and checked into Lanjom Homestay, a cozy riverside retreat. Our first stop was the famous sheep farm, but due to the unfavorable weather, the sheep had already been moved to their shelter. Despite that, we enjoyed the breathtaking landscape and serene views. After spending about an hour there, we visited a nearby fruit farm, where we saw kiwi and persimmon trees. Though we didn’t get a chance to taste the fruits, the experience was delightful.
By the time we returned to our homestay, it was already getting dark, did I mention that in Arunachal, the sun sets around 5 PM? After freshening up, we ordered Maggi and fries for dinner and called it a night early, around 7 PM. It rained throughout the night, and with no power, the valley was wrapped in complete darkness. The next morning, we woke up quite early, around 4 AM, ready for another day of adventure.
