Vilakku Kettu or Vilakkukettu or Chapram, huge structures, part of Attukal temple festival, offered by devotees, looks similar to miniature temple models. Huge structures made of pith, decorated with shining paper, garlands, tender coconut frond and plantain leaf-stalks and usually with the image of the goddess, are carried to the temple in a great procession (ezhunnallippu in malayalam) with Chenda Melam. This ritual is most popular in Tamilnadu State in India.
