Just a quick Video of Dave The A&P and I doing a compressor wash on a Piper Meridian PT6A-42A. The intent is to keep the axial and the centrifugal stages of the compressor section clean and free of dirt and deposits that can potentially rob the engine of performance. It is also know as a chemical power recovery wash in the hot section area of the engine
