Breakthrough: An OASIS Retreat Documentary

OASIS is an experiential, faith based, mental health retreat that I host every year. It’s a place for women to come and experience healing instead of simply hearing about it. What sets OASIS apart is it’s focus on community, experiential interventions, a spiritual disciplines. Women come to embody the healing that they have learned about in so many different spaces. People come broken and leave hopeful. It’s a place where the ashes of trauma are transformed into an oil of praise.

OASIS is my most meaningful work in the mental health space. This year my family decided to step out on faith and completely cover the cost OASIS for all attendees. We decided to listen to the voice of God and embody Isaiah 55:1

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”

Trauma already costs too much. We decided to see what happens when we seek the kingdom first & feed the Lords sheep. We’re excited to see what will follow this act of faith.

We’ve decided to be a ram in the bush for someone who would want to experience something like OASIS (regularly around 4K), but would not have the opportunity to access it financially .
