Welcome to the City of Newport News, Virginia! This is a drive around the city featuring many points including Hilton Village, Downtown, Newport News Victory Arch, and City Center at Oyster Point. Newport News is on the peninsula side of the Hampton Roads and is one of seven cities that comprise the metropolitan area. Located about 50 miles east of Richmond, the population of the city is over 184,000 people and is among the top ten most populous cities in Virginia. There is a lot of ground covered in this drive, so sit back and enjoy the trip. Video was filmed at the end of December 2023.
