It runs! But you'll never believe what the last piece of the puzzle was that made our 1974 Yamaha DT250 finally start, run, and idle. Sometimes it's best to go back to basics...
After setting the timing, rebuilding the carb, replacing the ignition coil, wire, and cap, we were dead in the water trying to figure out what was causing our bike not to start.
After trying EVERYTHING, we finally get it to run.
Next comes the fun part, building our DT250 into a vintage motocross (VMX) racer.
