Sailing from Juneau, Alaska, through Tracy Arm and Glacier Bay, then down the rugged outer coast to Lituya Bay and along the exposed shores of Chichagof and Baranof Islands, this voyage is part of a five-season journey from Seattle, tracing the remote coastal wilderness of Canada and Alaska.
Along the way, I welcome complete strangers from around the world, people united by curiosity, a spirit of adventure, and a desire to learn.
Together, we explore the raw beauty and natural history of a wilderness that can only truly be experienced from the deck of a boat.
Few ever have the chance to witness this place: the silence and the storms, the wildlife and wonder, the stories etched into every wave, and the ice-capped mountains shrouded in winter frost. Towering granite walls, calving tidewater glaciers, and a thriving, ever-evolving biosphere make this landscape not only visually stunning but also scientifically and spiritually profound.
