EXTREME FILIPINO CARABAO RACING - Never Seen Before! (Philippines Cowboys)

EXTREME FILIPINO CARABAO RACING WITH A BIG CASH PRIZE! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!

They call it "Karera Ng Kalabaw". They have cowboys in the Philippines, but I think in this case... they should be Caraboys! It was such a thrill watching these races as part of Sibuyas Festival in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija! Farmers and Carabaos from all around Region 3 (Central Luzon) flocked to this 430 meter long race track. It was hot, it was dusty, but that didn't stopping big crowds from coming out to watch everyone compete.

The races are two classes. Class A (big carabaos), and Class B (slightly smaller carabaos). It is elimination... if you don't win your heat, you don't move on.

A unique Philippines experience, and certainly an extreme activity! I can't believe how strong and fast these carabaos were. I have never seen anything like this before!
