Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park is located just 40 minutes away from Gainesville Florida and is one of our newest Florida State Parks. The Spring is beautiful and the park includes kayak rentals, hiking trails, and and Rv as well as tent camping. Gilchrist Blue Springs state park was added to our park system in 2017 and is slowly getting updated to state park standards. Campsites 18 & 17, were the best in that order! There is no dump station yet, but sites do have power and water! This is a top 10 spring to visit in Florida!
