Concealed Carry in Scrubs Pt 3 - Visual and Social Camouflage

No setup is ever 100% invisible, so in Part 3 we cover tips, techniques, and best practices for avoiding detection at work. We start with basic visual camouflage principles, and move into how to use perception and social dynamics to improve your concealment, and we also cover how to handle physical contact like bumps and hugs.

This series is a complete guide to carrying a concealed firearm in scrubs, from risk assessment to holster features to visual and social camouflage tips. While health care settings are the primary focus, the challenges of beltless carry are universal. If you’re having problems concealing your gun, you’ll find tips, troubleshooting, and general advice for making concealed carry easier and more comfortable. While we focus mainly on appendix carry, many of the tips are useful for any carry position.

This advice is brand and holster agnostic - it’s about knowledge, not gear. Most of the demos are done with the PHLster Enigma, but once you learn the physics principles of concealment, you can use that knowledge to improve your concealment with whatever system you choose.
