Hello and welcome to Kika's 12 Week Photo Challenge!
This is a FREE photo challenge series that anyone can join, with whatever equipment you have, and you can start and complete the videos at in your own time :)

There's two videos each week, one on Monday where we focus on getting you in the right mindset, and a photo challenge video each Thursday.

This is the second Monday Mindset video, and today we're going to talk about how to take photos that tell a story.

Photography is all about visual storytelling, and how you can capture an emotion or narrative in just a spilt second in a still frame. In this video I'm sharing some thoughts on how to make your storytelling more clear when taking and planning photos. The style of photography I do is usually preplanned and more conceptual then documentary style photogrpahy, but I still think these ideas and tips apply to all kinds of photography.
