Qionglai City, located in southwestern Chengdu, on the southwestern edge of the Chengdu Plain, Sichuan Province, about 65 km from downtown Chengdu, covers 1,384 square kilometers with a resident population of around 605,000, administered by Chengdu as a county-level city with its government in Linqiong Town. With over 2,300 years of urban history as one of the four ancient cities of Ba-Shu, established as Qiongdu in 316 BC during Qin Huiwen Wang's reign, it developed a "cross" street pattern in the Ming and Qing dynasties, rich in historical culture known for Qin-Han heritage, wine culture, and Qiong Kiln sites. Situated in low hills and river valleys at elevations of 300-3,000 meters, with high forest coverage, fresh air, and mild seasons, it's dubbed the "Wine City" and "Mountain-View Water-Charm Homeland."
