I recorded this short vlog whilst taking a rest during a random cycling afternoon. Decided to venture up north in Woodlands and clock some mileage on my fat bike. I noticed many foreign registered vehicles, pre-dominantly motorcycles, that were parked along the road, facing the Singapore-Johor straits.
Many of the drivers and riders seemed engaged in deep conversations over their mobile devices either via phone or video calls. I really feel for them as many have to endure the sacrifice of not being able to be with their families in Malaysia, just to keep their rice bowl in Singapore.
Hopefully, this pandemic does come to an end in the nearest future so that our borders can open and families can be reunited on both sides. Let's pray and hope for the best!
