This video shows the bulk of Mark Knopfler’s 39th concert from his first solo tour to support the release of his stunning solo album “Golden Heart” in 1996. It has very, good audio & picture quality thanks to the guys at Button Recordings. The recording was taken from the centre/right of the stage and close to the front. Missing from the concert video are the encores:- Brothers in arms, Money for nothing, Long highway & Going home and the majority of Sultans of swing and the solo outro to Telegraph road. Excellent capture & rendition of the rarely played “I’m the fool”.
