Woodturning - Natural edge bowl from a cherry crotchwood branch

This is the start to finish of a cherry crotchwood bowl (crotchwood is where one branch divides into 2 or more branches and usually has some interesting featherlike figure). The branch had been sitting around my shop since I first began turning over 10 years ago! During a recent reorganization, I found it and decided it was time to do something with it. The bark showed a long section of potentially figured wood, so I decided to try to orient it across the bottom of a natural edge bowl. The figure wasn't quite what I hoped for based on how the bark looked, but it still turned out very nicely. One interesting feature is the four sets of growth rings created by the two side-by-side branches, as well as some featherlike figure of the crotchwood.
