Winter certainly came with a bang this year. It's not our typical dusting of snow and then a little warm up and everything melts again. This was 4 days of snow and terrible driving conditions. This brings us to another list of chores that we add to our off grid life. Digging out the solar panels, making sure the hoophouse doesn't collapse from the weight of the snow and digging out the chickens. Welcome to winter in Northern Michigan.
