On our 2nd full day in South Dakota, we ran a trail called Raspberry Ridge. It was fun and had beautiful scenery. Afterwards, we were surprised by a massive hailstorm, with hail softball sized!! What it did to our rigs, both motorhomes and Jeeps, was catastrophic! We all worked together to get as much fixed as possible in a hurry as we were expecting another thunderstorm. It was a serious bonding experience for our friend group. Definitely a trip we'll never forget! Our campground owner said it was the worst hail he's seen in 13 years.
