Move In Day: Two Sisters Arrive Early and Get First Look at University of the Pacific Dorms

University of the Pacific welcomed students back to the campus for the first time in 489 days on July 17, 2021, for a very special summer program called Back to Pacific.

Sisters Naeli and Amaranta Perla were quick to jump at the opportunity to step foot on campus and take part in all the activities we have planned for students this summer. Naeli, a second-year student, and Amaranta, a first-year, are both studying psychology at UOP and living on campus for the first time together!

The Perla family made the short drive from Dublin in the San Francisco Bay Area to move their girls into Grace Covell Hall. Safe to say they were impressed by our spacious and recently renovated rooms!

About Grace Covell Hall: Grace Covell Hall is Pacific’s recently renovated first-year dorm, housing 307 students in double-occupancy rooms. Grace is a co-ed building with both single-gender and all-gender bathrooms on each floor, laundry available on each floor and five study lounges throughout the building.
