Plot Summary
Set in the late 19th century at Oxford University, the story follows two students, Jack and Charley, who plan a romantic afternoon with their sweethearts. However, the girls insist on a proper chaperone — Charley's wealthy aunt from Brazil, Donna Lucia d’Alvadorez. When she fails to arrive on time, the boys convince their eccentric friend Babbs to impersonate her. Dressed in full disguise, Babbs poses as the aunt, setting off a chain of hilarious misunderstandings, romantic confusion, and classic farcical situations.
