Para Siempre (Long, Long, Long | The Beatles)

This music video is dedicated to the memory of my dear friend, Ada Morris.

On the morning of 1/1/26, she was taken from this world. Gone far too soon, her absence is deeply felt by all whose lives she touched. Ada was a kind, creative, and pure soul - a steadfast friend, a companion, and a rock for so many. No words can fully convey how extraordinary she truly was.

I created this video using footage from our 2012 trip to Peru. Four of us traveled down the Amazon River for days to reach the jungle city of Iquitos. Along the way, we met several young girls who were instantly drawn to us. Over the course of the journey, they made four bracelets and told us “para siempre” - that we would remember each other forever. When they disembarked at their remote village, they cried as they waved goodbye from the shore. We shouted back “para siempre!” as the boat carried us onward.

After staying in Iquitos, we flew to Cusco and lived in an apartment just blocks from the main square. We immersed ourselves in life in the ancient Incan capital, exploring the city and the ruins that surround it. The final leg of our journey was visiting Machu Picchu.

It was a truly magical experience, and I am endlessly grateful that I was able to share Peru - and those moments - with you, Ada.

Thank you for coming into my life. I will miss you so, so much.
