A Cofaco Açores, implementou tecnologias avançadas para a produção inovadora de óleo de peixe obtido exclusivamente a partir de atum da espécie Katsuwonus pelamis (atum-bonito ou skipjack). A iniciativa focou-se na valorização dos subprodutos da indústria do atum, promovendo a sustentabilidade e a economia circular através da criação de um óleo com elevado valor nutricional e ambientalmente responsável.

Cofaco Açores aimed to implement advanced technologies for the innovative production of fish oil derived exclusively from tuna of the species Katsuwonus pelamis (skipjack tuna). The initiative focused on the valorization of by-products from the tuna industry, promoting sustainability and a circular economy through the creation of a nutritionally valuable and environmentally responsible oil.
