War Thunder; Meteor F Mk.8; I haven't played ARB in a while, so I'm a bit rusty; Air Realistic

I haven't played Air Realistic for about 2 months and it feels very weird for me now. And once again I have a problem with wasting too much ammo.
But it's not like I've completely forgotten how to play. It's more about the feeling.

I'm still not sure should I progress in the current event or just skip it. I like Meteors, but in the game the Meteor FR Mk.9 is a copy-pasted Meteor FR Mk.8. In Air Realistic you can only use one plane anyway, so you don't need lineups here.

I wish the Meteor FR Mk.9 was a premium vehicle, but it's just an event vehicle that's no different than a tech tree vehicle. It doesn't make much sense in grinding this event and then having another copy-pasted plane to spade. At the same time, the 30k score requirement is relatively easy to grind. And that's why I don't know what to do with this event.
