The SYRIS RD300-H1-G is a multiprotocol desktop reader for 13, 56 MHz NFC, and RFID tags.

Conventional RFID readers that read 13.56 MHz chips only support the ISO/IEC 14443 protocol, but the Syris RD300-H1-G also supports the ISO/IEC 15693 protocol and the reading of iCode SLIX chips.

It uses a standard USB interface and stands out from the crowd because of at least three features:

1. The RD300-H1-G reads even the small NFC tags with the 13 mm diameter well,

2. It supports multiple protocols (ISO/IEC 14443 Type A, B, and ISO/IEC 15693),

3. It comes with software tools so you have many options to customize the way it works.

By default, it works as a Keyboard Emulator and it reads the chip UID code in 8 HEX format, however, you can set the UID format to the same format as other NFC devices like mobile phones and tablets, which is the 14 HEX reverse byte.

The RD300-H1-G reader can also be set as a ‘Virtual COM reader’ where it reads the UID on the Virtual COM port, or on ‘AutoRead’ where it automatically reads data from memory.
