On Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11 AM EST, the New York State Quitline presented a webinar, titled, "A Practical Look at Addressing Tobacco Use in Relation to Trauma for Clinicians and Others."
This webinar will educate attendees on the interconnectivity of trauma and tobacco, while providing practical tips to integrate in their current efforts. Attendees will also learn about a new resource available through the New York State Quitline: Trauma & Tobacco: A Practical Resource Guide.
At the conclusion of this webinar, viewers will be able to:
• Define trauma and its connection with commercial tobacco use and recovery.
• Identify two reasons healthcare professionals and others can benefit from increasing their understanding of tobacco and trauma.
• Learn three key aspects of the Trauma & Tobacco: A Practical Resource Guide which can apply to one's clinical interventions.
