80’s VHS Camcorder Short Film - Static Memories

Static Memories is a short film shot primarily on a real 1986 VHS camcorder (JVC GR-C7U) and played back on a 1986 CRT TV (13in Hitachi). The lofi music was also recorded and played back on a 1980's cassette tape recorder (Panasonic RQ-340). All motorcycles, scooters, and background cars featured are period correct as well. They include:

1982 Honda MB5
1981 Honda C70 Passport (Super Cub)
1985 Honda Aero 50
1985 Honda Trail CT110
1979 Fiat Spider

All of that extra work and complication was done to really give the video an authentic retro and vintage look and feel rather than using modern filters and effects. I hope you enjoyed and appreciated the video that much more because of it.
