I've made ovens, boilers, bakers, water distillers, saucepans, frying pans, griddles, stoneware cookers, sand batteries, thermal mass air heaters, water heaters and even a warm mist humidifier. all shown in this video. i also show and discuss what PTC elements actually are, how they work, what the 'start up surge' is and how they differ from pelter modules. peltier is something totally different but some get the two confused. a few of my DIY peltier fridges and peltier electricity generators are shown in the last couple minutes of the video as well. (they generate electricity from a candle flame).

Note: I choose to use 12V DC powered PTC elements but they come in various voltages 12v/24v/36v/48v. they also sell AC powered PTC.

the 12v DC ones are great for off grid use. they can run on 12v solar panels, 12v batteries or by using an AC/DC power supply
