The intro riff was something I originally wrote for my old punk rock band where I was playing guitar. The guys in the band thought the riff was too heavy and not so punk so it was thrown away. Fast forward a couple of years later I figured I’m gonna try and use it in my brutal jazz trio, funny enough it turned out to be one of my favorite tracks AND it also gets me to punk rock, play guitar and headbang on our live shows. 🤘
