Side by Side 2 - All Car Specifications

Specifications for all cars in Side by Side 2, as shown in the attract mode. Recorded using MAME 0.247 using -aviwrite/CTRL+SHIFT+F12 from the English 2.6 (sidebs2) ROM, which has Honda cars enabled (sidebs2u, the US ROM, has them disabled as Taito and Honda USA weren't playing ball with each other, until Battle Gear 3, somehow). All Taito JC games in MAME has a timing-related bug that affects its emulation performance (among other things, the attract music ending before the title call), but I took it as an advantage here as a cue for when to push the record AVI button.

Note that in the English version, the SiR trim name in the CR-X and Civic and Savanna name in the FC RX-7 (spec screen only) are removed. There is a bonus footage from the Japanese version at the end of this video (recorded from non-RR version 2.4 ROM, sidebs2ja) with the aforementioned elements.

This video was recorded before I found Taito JC overclocking.
That being said, do you ever wonder if Kodansha ever told Taito to cease-and-desist with the Initial D references in their games? Taito continued doing this until BG3, and there is mention of "AE86 FUJIWARA TOUFU" in SBS2's main CPU ROM, as well somewhere in Side by Side Special's (effectively this game's port) SLPS (PlayStation executable) file. Also, the awkward "S" in EG Civic's SiR trim logo is still here.
CORRECTION TO 5:14: The reference video I was watching when recording this,    • 【基板録画】サイドバイサイド2 エボルツィオーネRR アドバタイズデモ【資料映像】   (by    / @samidareyuki  ) is the Evoluzione RR ROM, so I did check against that revision. Now, inversely, I originally did not check if in the vanilla version of the JP ROM if there is an efini logo present when the FD RX-7 is being shown, due to the curious alignment of the RX-7 logo in the English and JP Evoluzione RR versions, but I did check later when updating the Side by Side Special TCRF page and confirmed the original Japanese version does not have the Efini logo.
