Over the last month China has been censoring and banning Japanese content throughout their country. They removed and dragged Mari Otsuki well-known Japanese singer of One Piece ending theme "Memories" from stage. They canceled Demon Slayer Infinity Castle and Chainsaw Man's theatrical run early. Now they have banned all Non-Chinese IPs from their biggest convention called COMICUP. This all started over political tensions over Japan viewing Taiwan as a country.
