He's from Texas, and he has a background in sports. His parents are from Colombia and he says they are "the most removed thing you can be from acting." Even so, they supported his dreams and he went to Booker T. Washington Performing Arts High School in Dallas...

But he actually didn't get into the schools he wanted the first time he auditioned.

So he took a gap year and then auditioned again. Now he's headed to London for top tier training over the next 4 years! Congrats to him. He's got a lot of talent, but the details of his story are what you'll learn the most from.
