Day 1 of the Ryse Williams Pac Shores showcase hosted by Redondo Union. Long Beach Millikan looking for their first win of the season took on Beverly Hills. It was the Rams of Millikan jumping out to an early first quarter lead and held a 10 point half-time advantage.
Beverly Hills would not go away as they fought to eat away the deficit in the 2nd half. Sasha and Tyler Emrani along with RJ Ball would keep Normans within striking distance. RJ Ball connected from beyond the arc to give Beverly Hills their first lead 50-48 and would later stretch the lead to 4 points.
LB Millikan would take hold of the game 54-52 with under a minute to play as Joseph Wicker hit a three from the wing. Wicker would later ice the game from the free throw line as the Rams get their first victory of the season 59-55 over Beverly Hills.
