Barnoldswick in Bloom is an award winning organisation helping to make Barnoldswick a town that we can all feel proud of!
The bloom group works to improve our town by creating a better environment for everyone to enjoy. The group carries out 'hands on' activity throughout the year, planting, tending and tidying up areas around Barnoldswick.
The group is open to anyone that feels proud and passionate about Barnoldswick (or is willing to help improve civic pride). Activities for people of all ages and abilities are organised throughout the year. Enthusiasm is a common feature of group members; gardening experience is not a requirement (though the odd expert is appreciated!) The group works with local schools and other organisations, such as the Garden Gate Association and the Valley Garden group.
The bloom group meets monthly (usually on the last Wednesday). Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings and help plan and implement activities. To become a registered group member costs just £1 a year.
