Gardens provide you with both "Food Security" and a source of "Healthy Nutrition". It takes a little work but the payoff is rewarding. I call it a Victory Garden because it has a purpose. This kit will save you money on the seeds as well as helps out a great producer of heirloom varieties of seeds. The garden does not have to be that big, but a typical 4 foot by eight foot garden is a typical size that can give you large amounts of vegetables. I recommend at least two 4'x8' gardens or at least 60 square feet of gardening space.
This is my buddy's 20' x 20' garden and I planted it with Corn, Peas, Green Beans, Eggplant, and Tomatoes.
