The Irish Labour Party's decision not to contest the 1918 General Election meant it was, in most of the country, a straight run off between Sinn Féin and the Irish Parliamentary Party and is seen by many as a plebiscite on self-determination. But Labour had plans to run up to 15 candidates and had started to collect funds. In this episode I look at why they pulled out of the 1918 General Election.
