Castle and Beckett - Fix You

(VIDEO CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS FOR 3x24) ... While the Season 3 finale was epic in so many ways, what really struck a chord for me was this idea that it was Montgomery--not the mayor as we've always been told--who really partnered Beckett with Castle. Montgomery had been silently protecting Beckett for years and I think, before he could lay all his burdens down, he needed to know that she would be safe. So, he found Beckett a champion to ensure she would be protected when he was gone.

We'll miss you, Captain.
