Perspectives from the Türkiye and Syria Earthquake Response for the Humanitarian Reset | IAHE report

Against the backdrop of the Humanitarian Reset and growing pressure from widespread aid cuts, the humanitarian system faces an urgent need to rethink how it delivers assistance.

This event explores how lessons from the Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation (IAHE) of the Türkiye and Syria earthquake response can inform the Reset’s broader goals — from strengthening accountability and coordination to enabling more localised, context-driven approaches. Drawing on concrete examples from the evaluation, the session will highlight how evaluation evidence can drive strategic decision-making, policy reform, and operational change across the sector.
