The 2025 eventing season is finally here, and who better to kick things off than my lovely homebred Winnie! 🏇✨ If you’ve been following her journey, you’ll know that last year’s event season was sadly cut short due to injury, meaning she’s coming into this year greener than you might expect for her age. To give her the best start, I decided to enter the 80cm at Offchurch Bury for a Cotswold Cup qualifier.

My main focus for the day? Water! 🌊 It’s been a big challenge for Winnie in the past, and I was keen to see if all the winter training had paid off. Spoiler alert: she absolutely blew me away! I was just hoping for a positive run, so coming home with a top 10 rosette was the best kind of surprise. 🎉

This is just the start of what I hope will be a really exciting season, so make sure you stay tuned for all the highs, lows, and everything in between.
